Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to PDF Page Organizer, localized in Simplified Chinese as “PDF 页面整理器.” PDF Page Organizer is an iPhone and iPad app for organizing PDF pages, including merging, splitting, reordering, rotating, deleting, duplicating, cropping, extracting, and exporting pages.

1. Everything happens on your device

Opening, reordering, rotating, cropping, merging, splitting, previewing, and exporting PDFs happen on your device. The app does not upload your PDF files, filenames, page counts, thumbnails, page content, or exported results to a developer server.

“On-device processing” does not mean that the device can never use a network connection. The following user- or system-initiated features may connect to a network:

  • StoreKit may connect to Apple services to load products, make a purchase, verify a transaction, manage a subscription, or restore purchases;
  • if a selected file is stored in iCloud Drive or another cloud file provider, the system file picker may download it from that service;
  • a Files, mail, Messages, AirDrop, or other sharing destination chosen by the user may sync the exported PDF according to that system, account, or third-party service configuration;
  • opening the Terms of Use webpage or sending a feedback email uses the corresponding system service or network connection.

The developer does not receive the PDF through these system behaviors unless the user independently chooses to send a file by email or another destination. The app’s feedback email does not attach PDF files automatically.

2. No data is collected

The current version:

  • has no app-owned account, sign-in, user profile, or developer-managed cloud sync;
  • contains no advertising;
  • contains no custom behavioral analytics or user profiling;
  • contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK such as Firebase, Crashlytics, or Sentry;
  • does not read IDFA and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission;
  • does not sell or share user data for advertising.

The app’s privacy declaration should be Data Not Collected. Apple may still provide system-level crash or performance diagnostics according to the user’s, device’s, and App Store settings; this is not an embedded third-party collection service in the app.

3. File access and local storage

The app uses the system file picker to access PDFs explicitly chosen by the user. On import, the PDF is copied into the app sandbox, and all later editing happens on that copy. The original file selected by the user is not modified in place by the app.

The app may store the active workspace, thumbnail cache, and export records so the user can continue editing, recover an interrupted task, or manage local storage. These items are stored locally in the app sandbox. Users can delete them in the app’s storage settings or remove the app to clear them.

If iCloud Backup is enabled, iOS may include app sandbox copies in the user’s own iCloud device backup. That is system behavior, does not pass through a developer server, and cannot be read by the developer.

4. In-app purchases, subscriptions, and local entitlements

PDF Page Organizer uses Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases:

  • “PDF Organizer Pro Lifetime” is a one-time purchase;
  • “PDF Organizer Pro Annual” is an auto-renewable yearly subscription;
  • both unlock any-length exports, multi-PDF merged exports, splitting into separate files, and unlimited exports.

Payment, refunds, subscription renewal, cancellation, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple. The app does not receive or store bank-card numbers, complete payment details, or Apple Account passwords. The app stores only device-local state used to determine whether Pro is unlocked, track the free export allowance, and evaluate entitlements.

5. Third-party SDKs and developer servers

The current version contains no third-party runtime SDK and has no developer-server account system. PDF processing relies on Apple system frameworks, including PDFKit, SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, CoreGraphics, CryptoKit, StoreKit, OSLog, Observation, and UniformTypeIdentifiers.

CryptoKit is used only for local file fingerprints and similar on-device purposes. It is not used to upload or transmit files to the developer.

6. Control and deletion

Because the app has no developer-hosted account or cloud PDF database, there is no server-side PDF data to request from the developer for deletion. Users can:

  • delete local workspaces, caches, and export records in the app’s storage settings;
  • delete exported PDFs from Files, mail, cloud drives, or another sharing destination;
  • remove the app to clear local app sandbox state; and
  • manage iCloud Backup, file providers, and related sync services in system settings.

Permanent purchase and subscription records are managed by Apple StoreKit. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription or delete Apple’s transaction record.

7. Changes to this policy

If the app’s data processing, network capabilities, or third-party dependencies change materially, this policy should be updated before the corresponding version is released. The website should display the latest effective date.

The developer’s legal entity name, registered address, governing law, and jurisdiction have not been confirmed in the current project materials. The website publisher should add the actual information before submission rather than inventing it.
